About
Benoit Chartier is a Quebec painter interested in the elements of the rural landscape that surrounds him. His work combines small plein air paintings with larger works, painted in the studio.
He keeps looking for old trees, large rocks and river borders, but continues to find many of his subjects near his home, in Varennes.
Since 2018, Benoit has been represented by the Champagne et Paradis gallery , in Kamouraska.
